Elite safety footwear range

HAIX WILL be exhibiting at Safety, Health & Wellbeing Live 2023, February 14-15, Manchester Central, stand 112, to share its expertise and innovations with occupational safety and health communities across the UK.

EDITAs a founding partner of the event, HAIX will be joining leading manufacturers and suppliers to share best practices and discuss the latest trends in the sector.

At the HAIX stand, visitors will find a range of footwear manufactured in Europe using industry-leading techniques and high-grade materials, including the Black Eagle Safety 54 mid and Trekker Pro 2.0. The knowledgeable HAIX team will be on hand to answer any questions and advise visitors. Visitors can expect to see the following boots at the stand.

Black Eagle Safety 54 Mid

The Black Eagle Safety 54 prioritises comfort, stability, breathability and durability, creating a leading safety shoe, exceeding the EN ISO 20345:2011 safety standard, achieving S3 certification through exceptional safety features.

Featuring a midsole made from lightweight PU material, the Black Eagle Safety 54 Mid enhances heel to toe support and provides excellent thermal insulation. Protection is also achieved through the composite toe caps made from fibre-reinforced material providing certified protection for workers, particularly from injuries that could involve the toes and feet.

Other high-tech protective features include Electrostatic Discharge Protection (ESD). This ensures wearer protection when working in high-risk atmospheres, where there is a risk of being exposed to electrostatic charge that could affect the safety of the working environment and some electronic devices. Whilst safety features are critical, the Black Eagle Safety 54 also offers wearers comfort with cushioned, moisture repellent and anti-bacterial insoles, designed to allow air to be circulated around the shoe, maintaining optimum foot temperature in different climates.

Trekker Pro 2.0

The Trekker Pro 2.0 is designed using high-quality materials and advanced production processes to ensure that the boot works with wearers all shift long.

The rubber/PU walking sole unit gives firm traction across surfaces, combined with superior bending comfort and excellent insulation, while maintaining high wear-resistance. The lightweight metal midsole is puncture-resistant and works with the anatomically formed steel toe cap to protect wearers from underfoot hazards and injuries from falling objects.

The dimensionally stable insole gives wearers optimum pressure relief, cushioning and muscular support, ensuring correct foot posture – essential for maintaining comfort through long periods while minimising the risks of strains or foot injury.

Constructed from hydrophobic, breathable leather, the waterproof upper keeps feet dry, with Sun Reflect technology reflecting and reducing heat, keeping feet cooler. The boots’ GORE-TEX® Performance inner lining maintains waterproofing while being highly breathable, ensuring wearer comfort through all seasons and long periods of wear.

Simon Ash, HAIX’s UK sales manager says, “As a global specialist manufacturer of functional safety footwear, HAIX® is delighted to be returning as a Founding Partner of Safety Health & Wellbeing Live. We invite visitors to our stand 112 and look forward to sharing our expertise with occupational safety and health communities across the UK, ensuring we protect more workers with the highest functionality and quality standards, no matter the workplace challenges they face.”
