The UK is attractive for the Delta Plus group, being the second largest PPE market in Europe. The new start has been planned with the utmost precision. It begins with its re-launch as Delta Plus UK following the acquisition of leading safety footwear wholesaler LH Safety Ltd.
Rebranding its UK platform as Delta Plus UK is a sure sign of the group's determination to understand and invest in this marketplace. Its presence has also been strengthened by the acquisition of LH Safety Ltd, a well-known name in the UK industry that brings recognition and a wealth of expertise to the group.
A new start for LH Safety has meant moving premises from Rossendale to Delta Plus UK's new base in Blackburn, with the advantages including higher warehouse capacity and state-of-the-art technology for real-time stock availability. Having a UK base means stock orders can be delivered to UK customers in two days. The 2,300 square metre premises also contain a showroom and the sales, purchasing and finance departments.
