Software developer Ideagen has worked with key aviation organisations to release a version of its safety management solution Q-Pulse to ease compliance with the latest EASA legislation.
The Occurrence Reporting Regulation ((EU) 376/2014) brings specific requirements to all aviation stakeholders on the reporting of occurrences and its subsequent processing and analysis, enabling better access to information in order to address global safety challenges.
As part of the changes, EASA is encouraging all stakeholders to review their in-house reporting policies, procedures and systems, as well as their external reporting practices.
In line with these changes Ideagen's Q-Pulse now offers a solution for aviation companies with a need to submit to ECCAIRS (European Coordination Centre for Accident Reporting Systems).
Available on Q-Pulse SMS v6.1, this additional solution will allow aviation organisations to export Incidents in E5X format, allowing them to submit directly to ECCAIRS or the local authority, meeting the new reporting requirements.
