Cardinus Risk Management winners at IIRSM Risk Excellence Awards

Cardinus Risk Management is a health and safety risk management organisation, delivering a wide-array of services to businesses across the globe. 

The IIRSM is an educational charity and professional body for those managing risk in all its forms. 

The IIRSM Risk Excellence Awards took place virtually on the 20^th May 2021. The International Risk Initiative of the Year category showcased effective risk management across global locations, taking interest in strategy, culture and organisational values, brand and knowledge sharing.

Cardinus Risk Management’s submission focused on their global ergonomics solution during the pandemic, in which they supported organisations to develop and deliver appropriate solutions to meet the rapidly changing risks to employees when working from home. 

Cardinus provided tailored e-learning, software, advice, guidance and a world-beating virtual assessment solution to reach employees in 191 countries across the globe. More specifically, Cardinus provided:

• A free-to-use Global Guide to Ergonomics Regulation and obligations in 191 countries

• Pragmatic e-learning course addressing real-world training requirements of temporary homeworkers

• Free-to-use email templates for homeworking and wellbeing

• A global network of certified virtual ergonomics assessors

• Where organisations provide a financial stipend for equipment, we produced a guide to help workers select equipment at a time when supply chains were badly affected

• Free-to-use COVID-related ergonomics and comfort resources

• COVID-related ergonomics webinars, reaching over 400 health and safety professionals
