Crystal Ball's lone worker protection App wins Innovative Product Award

The award was presented at a sell out ceremony hosted by Comedian Al Murray at London’s Hilton Park Lane Hotel, and attended by more than 800 industry guests, on Thursday 12th March. Judges commended the Crystal Ball solution for being "Truly Innovative”.

Judges’ comments included:

"Managing a lone worker with the associated legislative responsibilities is a challenge faced by many businesses. Crystal Ball’s solution goes a long way to solving this challenge. The cost of breaching health and safety legislation can be punitive and this innovative solution will help negate such incidents.”

The solution particularly impressed the judges because:

"Smartphones have changed the playing field in the lone worker protection market. There are many players. But not all of them have caught up with the regulatory changes. Crystal Ball has seen this gap and become a leader in developing an industry-grade product and crafting it for its customer channels. ”

Four solutions were shortlisted as Finalists for the ‘most innovative product’ category, including another app from the Crystal Ball team: MobileTrack. The two other Finalists in the category were EE for their Buzzard 4G WiFi and Crystalusion for their Liquid Glass Protection.

Other category winners at the award ceremony included HTC (best Smartphone for their One M8), EE (Innovative Service for their Cash on Tap and Best Network) and Lebara Mobile (For best MVNO).
