Cutting edge harnesses

Global fall protection specialist, Capital Safety has launched a new range of Delta Comfort harnesses, with shoulder, back and leg padding.

According to Capital Safety it is the most comfortable design yet and features superior build quality and vent windows designed to reduce the risk of suspension trauma by allowing for direct air contact and better circulation.

With more than 20 years’ expertise in designing products to ensure the safety of thousands of men and women who work at height, Capital Safety’s latest offering represents the culmination of years of design, research, manufacturing know-how and on-the-job performance.

One area that distinguishes the Delta™ Comfort harness is the attention to detail around durability. Its coated, corrosion-resistant hardware, and water-repellent and abrasion resistant webbing are reassuringly tough at time when it is needed most.

Functionality was also key factor in the design of the new Delta™ Comfort harness and this is reflected in its patented triangular design which gives the harness a shape of its own, allowing for harnesses to be donned and removed with consummate ease.  This is further aided by the spring-loaded, stand-up dorsal D-rings which make connections fast, easy and safe. They can be easily adjusted to suit the physique of the wearer and Capital Safety’s exclusive i-Safe™ system is an efficient, digital way of recording and storing information on inspections.

Sandra Paiva, Product Manager EMEA for Soft Goods at Capital Safety commented: "The clue is in the name – for us, safety is paramount and that is why we have made it our mission to ensure that every worker can carry out their job safely and effectively at height. Our new Delta™ Comfort harnesses are as tough as those who wear them while providing a level of comfort that is second to none”.

Safety and functionality are of limited use if harnesses cause the user discomfort. Fortunately, the Delta™ Comfort harness eliminates this problem by holding its shape which prevents shoulder straps from rubbing against the neck. Furthermore, the Delta™ comfort hip pad supports the back and hips reducing the potential for strain and injury.

Delta Comfort harnesses are part of the DBI-Sala range by Capital Safety and come in a range of sizes to accommodate a variety of users and can bear weights of up to 140kg.
