Hospital Aids (Spectrum Healthcare) will be exhibiting at the Emergency Services Show, for the fourth year running, to showcase their innovative range of emergency evacuation equipment and moving and handling aids.
This will include their devices for large individuals, the Bariatric EvacMat and their latest innovation the EMS Bariatric Evacmat, which was launched at the show in 2014 and features some clever additions, not available on the standard model.
Hospital Aids EvacMats are suitable for the movement of large individuals as they provide a solution to body mass stabilisation, while enabling emergency service personnel to perform a safe, dignified extraction.
Recent editions to their menu include the Med Sled evacuation and rescue devices which consist of options for vertical and horizontal evacuation, confined space extractions, vertical lift operations and the safe movement of toddlers and infants from special care units.
Alison Hayward, moving and handling consultant from Hospital Aids, said: "At Hospital Aids we are committed to developing and sourcing evacuation and rescue equipment to meet our customers varying needs. We are looking forward to participating at the Emergency Services Show and demonstrating for the attendees how cost effective and user friendly they are."
