From shopping centres and construction sites, to warehouses, factories and hotels, it’s vital for security guards to have a robust radio solution in place for them to be able to effectively protect areas that can be targeted by vandalism and thieves.
It’s also paramount for a company to ensure the safety of both its staff and customers.
Many organisations have radio systems in place but for a business looking to add bolt on features to its existing system or replace a legacy system, designer and manufacturer of professional mobile radio communications equipment, Hytera, has launched patrol system solution PD415, which is sold through ANT Telecom, and can be tailored to individual customer needs.
Without requiring substantial investment, the PD415 digital patrol radio system offers real-time tracking management through Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID). RFID readers are embedded into the radios, and can read RFID tags attached to objects at different locations; automatically sending information back to a receiving station. The system helps guarantee that security guards get to all the check points covered in a shift on time and raises an alarm if they do not make it to a location within the allocated time.
