Exciting new glove from Tornado

UHMWPE stands for Ultra-High Molecular Weight PolyEthylene. It’s a member of the thermoplastic polyethylene family, made up of extremely long chains of molecules that form extra-strong intermolecular interactions. The extraordinary structure and high molecular mass make it the toughest thermoplastic material available in today’s market.

Its designed for strength but it has many other highly desirable commercial advantages such as being odourless, tasteless, non-toxic and resistant to most organic solvents and corrosive chemicals. It doesn’t readily absorb moisture and its abrasion resistance levels greatly exceed that of carbon steel!

Tornado Technicians have developed Electroflex-Pro using super-strong UHMWPE yarn but that’s not the end of the story. They’ve taken this already tough thread and dual wrapped it with two other robust filaments. Nylon and Spandex work together in a double-helix formation to further enhance cut and abrasion resistance, flexibility and comfort.

The complex composition of the yarn works in conjunction with a resilient Polyurethane coating to deliver an incredibly tough glove.

With the addition of extra reinforcement between thumb and forefinger, you can rely on Electroflex-Pro to protect hard-working hands!

Anti-Bacterial Technology - The coating of the glove transmits a skin-friendly conditioner onto the hand that kills germs and will last the entire life-cycle the glove
