Mobile Mini, a hirer of portable accommodation and secure storage containers, with its global operations based in Arizona and UK headquarters based in Stockton on Tees, has reported record results for its UK business.
Annual income hit £57.6m for 2015, a 9.5% increase on 2014.
The increase comes as Mobile Mini UK reveals it invested £14m on growing its fleet of rental units. The company added almost 3,000 units to its fleet of steel storage containers, portable offices, canteens and toilets, growing its fleet to more than 35,000, operated across sixteen UK depots stretching from Glasgow to Southampton.
£2.5m has also been invested in new fuel-efficient delivery trucks giving the company one of the biggest HGV fleets of its kind in the UK. It was also awarded a Gold level award in the Fleet Operators Recognition Scheme (FORS), recognising the company’s significant improvements in safety, environmental impact and efficiency.
2016 is likely to see further investment in Mobile Mini’s rental fleet, with the company also planning to expand its product range.
Chris Morgan, MD at Mobile Mini, said: Our focus on putting the customer at the heart of everything we do means we are confident we can deliver the high quality products our customers need, when they need them.”
