Flooring is fit for purpose

Installed by local flooring contractors M2 Flooring for main contractor Dan Stacey Construction, Polyflor’s Forest fx PUR sheet vinyl flooring in the Rustic Oak design was chosen for the new gym's main floor, circulation areas and stairwells. The warm oak shade was designed to perfectly complement the bright colour scheme to create an upbeat and energising environment for gym members to exercise in. 

Two of Polyflor’s safety flooring products in matching dark hues were also selected to provide sustainable wet slip resistance in the gym’s changing rooms. Heavy-duty Polysafe Vogue Ultra PUR safety flooring in Galactic was fitted in the changing area whilst Polysafe Hydro Evolve in Black Volta was used for the showers. Polysafe Hydro Evolve features a pimple emboss for use in barefoot and continually wet areas in leisure environments such as walk-in showers, indoor pool surrounds, wet rooms and hydrotherapy areas.

Rhys Jenkins, general manager at Simply Gym Cwmbran, said: “Simply Gym is an affordable gym chain but we wanted to give the interior a high end look. The Cwmbran facility is the third gym in our chain and since it opened in January 2016 we’ve had really positive comments about it from our visitors and new members.”
