With the enquiry led by Dame Judith Hackitt now concluded and legislation in the form of the Fire Safety Bill and Building Safety Bill currently going through Parliament, there is some understanding of what updated building safety standards may look like for “buildings in scope”; those over 18m high with a residential component/sleeping risk.
