Getting a handle on hygiene

The Hygiene Handle is a door handle that dispenses sanitising hand gel directly onto the users hand when they open the door. In contrast with current systems which encourage people to "opt in” to hand hygiene controls, the Hygiene Handle approach reverses the decision so that everyone complies unless they have a good reason to "opt out”. Independent tests have shown the Hygiene Handle surface to be 98.5% cleaner than standard hospital door handles.
