With the wintry weather already predicted to resemble that of last year's, KM Cleaning Services is on standby to ensure its clients receive its premium gritting service, which is automatically implemented in response to regularly monitored MET office weather warnings.

A recent report by the Hospital Episode Statistics for England and Wales showed that 15,237 people were admitted to hospital during 2010/2011, with injuries directly associated with falling or tripping over snow or iced surfaces that were left un-gritted. A further 13,420 road casualties were recorded last year alone, 79 of which were fatalities.

Brian Harrison, business development and area manager at KM Cleaning Services, said: "We take pride in ensuring our customers receive a professional service led by our team of specialist gritting operators that is reliable and affordable. We believe that the proper and attentive health and safety of your workplace is imperative if you want to maximise your business' success, livelihood and longevity, essential to the smooth running of any organisation."
