ADT, a Tyco Business, has installed an integrated safety and security system at the new state-of-the-art Possilpark Health and Care Centre in Glasgow.
The fire alarm control panels are part of the latest digital-based MZX Technology system family that offers greater functionality and advanced capacity in the number of field devices available on each loop – from 100 to up to 250 – which makes for a more efficient and cost effective technology.
The fire alarm system provides triple technology detectors (each device can detect smoke, heat and carbon monoxide gas) for quicker and more effective detection of a fire, and reduces the risk of false alarms.
The project is also the first in Scotland to utilise the latest Medicall 800 electronic care and communications software, which include staff attack and accessible WC alert functions.
