Hit the North

Feedback from this year's Health & Safety North event has been extremely positive, with delegates and exhibitors alike describing how the show provided excellent networking opportunities, strong conference content and insight into the latest products and services.

Taking place at the Bolton Arena on 7 and 8 October, the show provided visitors with the chance to hear from a broad range of speakers, including Kate Haire from the Health & Safety Executive (HSE).

Steve Evans, business manager for the personal safety division of 3M, said: "As the title sponsor we have a long standing relationship with the event and have watched it evolve into the leading union for the health and safety industry where products and practices are shared across the board."

Highlights included the Mock Trial, which enabled visitors to take part in a court trial as part of the jury. More than 400 delegates took part in the 'court case' provided by Pinsent Masons law firm and, after hearing the evidence, cast a vote of 'guilty'.

Preparations are currently underway for The Health & Safety Event which takes place at Birmingham NEC on 22 - 24 March 2016.
