Security has been improved and crime reduced due to both increased liaison with the local Police and the installation of CCTV funded by the levy paid by all BID Members of the Estate.
RB Services Health and Safety Training and Consultancy work very closely with HBP providing training which is free for the employees of BID Members.
We provided HSE Approved First Aid Training, and so far approx. 150 local employees are now qualified. We have run the course twice a year with 2 or more sessions each time with more to follow in the future.
Over 100 employees have had manual handling training, CPC driver training (35hours) will be completed this summer, a year in advance of the new regulations. At the most recent free training course, 'The Role of The Fire Warden'; 50 employees received free FPA accredited training. This course was so oversubscribed that HBP in conjunction with RB Services will be providing more courses after the summer for Members.
In total approximately 500 local employees have received training, can any other Business Improvement District claim to be so safe?
