From 21st April this year all hearing protection equipment used in the workplace must comply with the new Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Regulation (EU)2016/425.
Changes made to this new Regulation include moving Hearing Protection from Category II to Category III. This category exclusively includes the risk that harmful noise may cause very serious consequences such as irreversible damage to health.
Setting the standard in custom-made and universal-fit hearing protection since 1994, ACS is fully compliant to the new PPE regulation. Suppliers of custom hearing protection who are not certified to either module D or C of the new PPE regulation, are no longer allowed to place products into the market. ACS has become the trusted provider of hearing protection and communication solutions to a diverse range of industrial and aviation sectors across the worldand ready to serve the market beyond April 2019.All ACS products are fully certified toEN 352-2 and EN352-6 and PPE regulation (EU)2016/425.
ACS ambient noise filters offer a choice of 6 SNR’s between 15dB and 28dB, which ensures that the correct amount of sound reduction can be achieved in any working environment: communicating safely, hearing warning alarms without causing muffling and allowing ears to breathe, together with all day long comfort and wearability.
Other key benefits of using ACS custom hearing protection products compared to foam earplugs include reducing your costs, drastically reducing your environment waste and highlighting your corporate and social responsibility.
