The all-new ATEX approved
Wolflite XT Handlamp range
from Wolf Safety features
the latest developments in
terms of battery, light and
control technology. The
recent upgrade to the next
generation of high power
LEDs means that light output
is increased from 200 lumens
to 350 lumens, a 75%
increase.
The XT-70 with Spot and
Flood beams is in use at
Leicestershire Fire and
Rescue Service, Tyne & Wear
Fire Rescue Service and
Hereford and Worcester Fire
and Rescue Service as
portable ATEX general
purpose lighting on vehicles.
British Gas Centrica and
Shell are just two of the
major oil and gas companies
now using it for maintenance
and inspection purposes.
International sales are also
notably increasing with
volume sales to Germany's
industrial sector, the fire
fighting sectors in France,
Italy, Austria, and
Switzerland and in the global
marine market where the
Wolflite XT is used as a fire
fighting and general purpose
handlamp on oil and gas
tankers.
The Wolflite XT-90 with
additional coloured signal
LEDs is utilised in the oil and
gas production sector, where
it is used with green and red
LEDs for helicopter
signalling. This model with
red and amber LEDs has also
been adopted by Vienna Fire
Brigade for traffic signalling.
