induct.me specialises in online induction software designed to save companies time and money inducting their workforce quickly and consistently, and minimising the health and safety risk.
Last year, HSE reported 78,000 injuries to employees reported under RIDDOR and 629,000 injuries at work from the Labour Force survey (2013/14). This equated to 28.2 million working days lost due to work-related illness or injury.
In a high risk work environment, the need for an effective induction process is fundamental to limiting incidents in the workplace. induct.me is a web based system, allowing for the seamless and consistent induction of contractors and employees, across multiple locations.
Debbie Plumridge, induct.me manager commented: "Designing and delivering relevant induction packages can be a costly and complex task. induct.me has been created to reduce the heavy admin from the induction process, as well as provide employers with the ability to maintain a secure record of all their inductees. Managers and supervisors can set all the required parameters for passing the induction process meaning every contractor or employee will have to demonstrate understanding before they can begin work."
She continued: "It is not uncommon for company inductions to become inconsistent as they are dependent on who delivers them and when. induct.me eliminates this issue as all the relevant resources and questionnaires are presented from a central online location and can be tailored for specific sites. Therefore employers have the confidence that all their staff have received and understood the health and safety requirements before they step on site.”
induct.me will be showcased at the Safety and Health Expo, ExCel London on 16 – 18 June 2015, and can be found at stand number T2000.
