With its new Safeseries safety relays, Weidmüller offers modules designed to shut down process industry plant and plant components in the event of an emergency. The G3 coated version is a requirement for applications where there is a high concentration of hydrogen sulphide and it has been tested in accordance with EN 60068-2-60. TUV NORD has certified that the Safeseries safety relay range fulfils SIL3 requirements in accordance with EN 61508.

Part of the range, the new SCS 24V DC SIL3 safety relay is designed to guarantee emergency shutdown of systems and system components operating in the process industry.
