The products feature the new
Extremity Dissipater System (ESD)
which enhances safety with its end
absorbing system, reducing impact
on the user's body to less than
600daN in the event of a fall,
exceeding current EN standards and
differentiating from previous
models.
The system also offers greater
flexibility in movement than
previous models and will not
accidentally lock when the user
moves but does so automatically
within 60cm in the event of a fall.
Equipped with a swivel connector
which prevents the strap from
twisting, a dual locking safety system
and a fall indicator on the webbing
strap; the product is extremely
versatile.
Both blocfor models have been
especially developed for ease of use
as they can
be used in a
horizontal
or vertical
position and
feature a large
anchor point for
connectors. The
spring ensures
constant tension on
the webbing strap for
interference free user
comfort. Maintenance
is simplified on these
models due to a
reduction in spare parts
and the casing is made
from fibreglass-polymide
blend ensuring high
resistance to shocks and
abrasion. This new
generation of fall arresters
offers both enhanced
safety and practicality.
