WORKSCREEN, THE user-operated hearing test system for surveillance audiometry, reports a surge in activity as the UK economy gets back on its feet.
Some sectors (e.g. food production) have remained steady, with more diverse clients – including the hospitality and entertainment sector - testing staff hearing as they reopen.
“Whether it’s because they’re bringing new staff on, gradually reintroducing staff from furlough or just catching up, our clients appreciate a sensibly priced way of flexibly conducting hearing tests for a slightly uncertain number of staff, with testing usually spread over a few days” says Tom Parker.
And as focus is shifting back towards completing health and safety tasks set aside over the last 15 months, WorkScreen has increased testing capacity and has also introduced new earphones with improved sound isolation to serve more clients in sectors like construction, arboriculture and manufacturing.
