Physical Digital has been awarded accreditation from Alcumus SafeContractor for achieving excellence in health and safety in the workplace.
Surrey-based Physical Digital provides high-accuracy 3D optical measurement across many sectors including aerospace, automotive, power generation, marine and general engineering. Since 2005, the award-winning firm has been offering mobile scanning services across the UK, Europe and beyond, using GOM's 3D scanning systems.
Alcumus SafeContractor is a leading third party accreditation scheme which recognises extremely rigorous standards in health and safety management amongst contractors.
Physical Digital’s application for SafeContractor accreditation was driven by the need to demonstrate a uniform standard across the business. SafeContractor accreditation will enhance the company’s ability to win new contracts, and its commitment to safety will be viewed positively by its insurers when the company liability policy is up for renewal.
Physical Digital’s founder and CEO Tim Rapley, said: “This is a recognition of the extremely high standards we set ourselves in all areas of our business. Health and safety is of course at the heart of our work, so to achieve SafeContractor accreditation affirms our commitment to excellence.”
