Waste management and recycling provider Roydon Group has seen improved efficiencies after choosing Cesab M300 forklifts for two of its waste management operations.
Headquartered in Swinton, Manchester, Roydon Polythene and Roydon Polythene (Exports) have both experienced improved reliability and uptime since the 16 Cesab trucks were brought in to handle waste materials at both sites.
Four Cesab M315 diesel forklifts, one Cesab M318 diesel forklift and two M325 diesels are in use at Roydon Polythene, which recycles and reprocesses plastic film.
One of Roydon Poythene's Cesab M325s has been fitted with a Bolzoni bale clamp and another with the Bolzoni fork clamp, enabling them to transport plastic bales around site, load containers or curtain sided vehicles and feed stock onto conveyor belts.
At Roydon Polythene (Exports) there are six Cesab M325 diesel trucks and three Cesab M330 diesel forklifts, all fitted with Bolzoni bale clamps or fork clamps. This site manages the recycling of waste materials.
Both materials handling operations are intensive, with forklifts working 24 hours a day from Monday to Thursday and transporting between 160 and 180 tonnes of plastic bales each day.
Ergonomics are central to the design of the Cesab M300 range, helping to reduce fatigue and physical strain for operators. This ensures better productivity and performance.
