A video from Network Rail demonstrates two of the key features of Lone Worker Manager; Heartbeat and Push4Help.
Heartbeat
Heartbeat sends a voice, text or email message at pre-set intervals requesting an identity code to confirm that the recipient is ‘OK’. If all is well, LoneWorker Manager simply resets until the next message response is due. Heartbeat can be activated or deactivated on any standard mobile, smartphone (Android, Apple iOS and Windows), laptop or PC as required.
Push4Help
The Push4Help lone worker safety system is fast and simple to use and works with any telephone, mobile or smartphone with a speed dial facility. There are two key options: RED Alert — In a crisis you push the pre-set button or icon on the app to raise the alarm. This connects you instantly to the LoneWorker Manager platform, which identifies your location and the support required. AMBER Alert — offers peace of mind by allowing you to leave a voice message with your location, in case an emergency situation arises.
LoneWorker Manager logs the time, date and message data for every Heartbeat and Push4Help event. This is essential for a company's health and safety management, audit reports and lone worker duty of care compliance. It also sends out daily messages about lone worker safety and reminds people working alone to activate their support and safety modules.
LoneWorker Manager is a proprietary system developed by Lone Worker Solutions and used by a wide variety of companies to enhance the safety of staff working by themselves or in remote or hazardous locations.
