With falls from height still the single biggest cause of deaths in the workplace, the Access Industry Forum (AIF), the Forum for the principal trade associations and federations involved in temporary work at height, will be advancing safety, best practice and competency at the Health & Safety Event, being held at the Birmingham NEC from the 11th to the 13th March.
The Forum promotes the link between training and competency in the workplace by advocating the need for users of all types of access equipment to be professionally trained to industry recognised standards and to provide formal proof of that training.
During the event the Forum will deliver three presentations focusing on the latest WAH developments, standards and guidance, and from its stand will offer advice and information including its new AIF PocketCard highlighting the essentials of working safely at height.
